The experiment\r\nentitled “Effect of pinching and NAA on morpho phenological and yield\r\nattributing traits of bottle gourd (Lagenariasicenaria Mol.\r\nStandl.)” was conducted at Instructional farm Jambuvadi, JAU., Junagadh. during\r\nsummer, 2024. Total twelve treatment combinations comprising three level of pinching\r\nviz., pinching at 2nd node (P1), 4th node\r\n(P2), 6th node (P3) and four levels of NAA\r\nconcentration viz., 25 ppm (N1), 50 ppm (N2), 100\r\nppm (N3) and 150 ppm (N4) were allocated in randomized block\r\ndesign with factorial concept in three repetition. Among different levels of\r\npinching, pinching at 6th node had maximum number of primary\r\nbranches at final harvest (9.02), secondary branches (4.99), leaf area (255.69\r\ncm2) and chlorophyll content (2.55 mg/g). Furthermore, pinching\r\nlevels on Total soluble solids was found nonsignificant. In case of different\r\nlevel of NAA treatments, NAA at 100 ppm recorded maximum number of primary branches\r\nat final harvest (9.13), secondary branches (4.60), leaf area (255.63 cm2),\r\nchlorophyll content (2.15) and total soluble solids (3.73 Brix°) was recorded in treatment 150 ppm NAA. The interaction effect between\r\npinching and NAA concentration were found nonsignificant.
